New pictures in the Gallery

Swyftlynx hasn't had as much time to paint lately.  A few new ones have been added to the gallery.  This one is a new favorite around our house.

Swyftlynx started this today. Personally, I like it.  But he thinks it needs something more.  We'd love to hear what others think of it.

Considering Canvas

I had an unused canvas laying around and thought that it might be interesting to try creating something with it.  One of the tricks to spray paint is that you need a slick surface to paint on which, of course, canvas isn't.  With this in mind I grabbed a can of clear coat and soaked the canvas down.  After it dried I began painting.  This was the result.  I'm very pleased with it and I even painted the edges so it doesn't need a frame for hanging.

Welcome to Stellar Creations.  I'm Swyftlynx and I'm on a journey to create unique art.  In my spare time I'm experimenting with using a variety of new and interesting techniques.  My primary medium for these experiments is spray paint.  Yes really just right out of the can.
